Trees on The Terrace

The trees on the terrace
On the 20th floor across the way
Are playing in the wind.
The light, slender green one
Can’t help itself -
Teasing the red maple;
Bending in a bit to tickle.
And the red maple cannot contain
itself -
Jiggling its leafy boughs
Giggling at the touch. Jiggling its leafy boughs
